The Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Sabire Yazıcı started the activity in 2012-2013 academic year in accordance with the Faculty of Science and Literature and accepted the first students. The Department of Turkish Language and Literature, one of the first departments in the Faculty of Arts and Literature, gave its first graduates in 2016. Currently in department 4 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, 6 research assistants and 1 lecturer 13/b are working.The main aim of the Turkish Language and Literature section To teach Turkish language and literature in a scientific way, to educate higher quality masters and doctoral students, to teach the talented ones among poets, stories, novels and so on. to challenge the essays.
